Chimera Jailbreak: To Update iOS 12 Version To 1.6.0

 So, Chimera Jailbreak is released by the Chimera Team. This is an unexpected update for its iOS 12-centric Chimera jailbreak tool. Chimera tool update on this Christmas eve. Now it can officially bring this up to version 1.6.0. The Chimera Team also lead developer CoolStar announced the latest Chimera update using the official Sileo / Odyssey / Chimera Discord channel. So, Chimera is not available in the newest jailbreak that is available to the general public. Then it is still a rather important one. Now, the Chimera Team has been focusing on back-porting much of the stability. This is from the newer Odyssey jailbreak to the Chimera to help them. You have to ensure this in long-term reliability and usability. So, the latest update is not different.

Here is the list of changes in Chimera v1.6.0 is given below:

– This is Officially verified to work on iOS 12.5 (Chimera 1.5.1 already worked on 12.5).
– The Backports are more of Odyssey’s changes to Chimera.
– Now, the platform-application entitlement is now no longer required for binaries to run.
– You can also skip-library-validation entitlement that is now no longer required for libraries to load into binaries.
– To improve the efficiency and reliability of Chimera.
– Then Note that: These backported also changes and were adapted to use the kexec [pac bypass]. This is as such as the Chimera that can still only support the A12 devices up to iOS 12.1.2.
– To fix the potential app black screen issue during the jailbreak process.
– Then Fix reliability issues with injecting into launched during the jailbreak process.
– Can Fix the potential post-jailbreak kernel panics on 4K devices (A7/A8) improving the reliability of the jailbreak.

List Details:

– Now, jailbreak the plist can move to improve compatibility. This is with odysseyra1n (jailbreak no longer runs or crashes when booted with odysseyra1n).
– To fix the memory leak and then slow performance if jailbreak can restart.
– Then the Experimental support for full user space reboot.
– Now, test the user space reboot you can run launch ctl reboot user space.
– The User space reboot should complete in about 15 seconds.
